In 2013, when Andrew Matley and Matthew Watts left the established environmental consultancy that they worked for to set up their own business, they did so determined to start a business that was built on agility, integrity, technical excellence and, above all, a focus on solving problems for their clients.

The business began by serving the insurance market, working directly for loss adjusters managing domestic fuel oil incidents and this is still a major part of our business. However, we have expanded both our offer to clients and the markets we serve. Today, we still respond to and manage pollution spill incidents with the same dedication as ever.

In fact, in over 90% of cases we use our own contracting teams to carry out the work which is designed by highly qualified Seed Environmental consultants.

In addition to this core service we are as likely to be found managing complex environmental incidents for commercial clients in the construction, energy, chemical, industrial and agricultural markets as we are designing and implementing in situ remediation programmes on challenging brownfield sites.

We have naturally expanded our services to include Fire and Flood remediation, further growing our presence in the insurance market through organic means.

Our plans for the business remain as ambitious as ever so further expansion is inevitable but we will temper that with a resolute determination to stick to our core values, always remembering that we are there to provide an invaluable service for our clients.
