Seed and Paulex merge, creating national network

We are delighted to report that Seed Environmental Ltd has merged with Paulex Ltd, which has its headquarters in Exeter.

We both specialise in environmental and property incident response, site investigation, remediation and restoration services, environmental claims management and monitoring for insurance companies, commercial and public sector clients and homeowners. We are looking forward to continuing to grow the combined business and delivering world-class services with the same passion and expertise for which both companies are renowned.

Seed has offices covering most of the UK. Bringing us together with Paulex in the south west gives us national coverage as a combined company and merges our skill sets for clients of both businesses. This is very much a strategic merger to enable us to improve our service nationwide, strengthen our delivery and broaden our offering.

Seed and Paulex have worked together in the past and the synergy between the two businesses is perfect. Both have highly skilled staff with an enormous bank of knowledge and we share a passion and belief in the excellence of the services we provide. Having our own contracting arm within Seed will add further benefits to Paulex customers.

The merger of the companies also means very much ‘business as usual’. Paulex managing director, Nicholas Mullen, is joining Andrew Matley and Mathew Watts on the Seed board, with both company’s trading names being retained. We have plans to significantly grow the Paulex business in the south west, while maintaining the quality of service that existing Paulex clients have come to expect.
